I have really been struggling with Aubrynn lately--i know, shocker. Today, i put her in her room for mandatory nap time. I have to hold the doorknob so she won't get out. (yes, i have thought about turning the door knob around, just haven't had the chance). I held it for awhile and then heard her crying and saying (apparently into her play phone): "Help me Grandma, Mom has locked me in my room and i can't get out! Come help me!" Being at the door, i couldn't bust out laughing right then. She sounded so sad in her pleas and cries for help. Sam came and meowed at me (i thought she would know i was at the door, then the screaming would start up again). But she was resigned and said: "Sorry meow-meow, mom locked the door. Sorry, meow-meow."

too funny! don't feel bad, i have held the door shut too many times to count.
You could also get those things that snap on the door to prevent her from opening it. I struggled with my oldest at that age too...this too shall pass!
Yeah, we had those for awhile. But she has learned how to break them off.
That's too funny. Kids can be funny little stinkers.
Be careful if you turn the door knob around. Liam had a pair of finger nail clippers in his room for some reason and decided to use it to cut through the locked door. We have some very nice, deep scratches around the door knob. Kids...
such drama!!!! where do these crazy little girls get this stuff?
