"Beeyouteeful!!!"

A very long time ago, i was actually not half bad at coordinating clothes and picking them out for myself. Somewhere in between then and now, the only look i have mastered (and i do mean MASTERED) is "Mommy Frumpy." So needless to say, my closet is full of clothes that don't fit but are quite beautiful--just ask Ian. As i was looking for something to wear--staring absently at all of the clothes i wish i still fit into, he starts running his hands over a few pieces and says: "Beeyouteefull." I come out of my daze and say, "what?" "Beeyouteefull, Mommy!" Then I hold up a couple of other things and say "how about this?" He says, "Beeyouteefull." Hmmm...Then i ask him what he thought about what i was wearing. Was that Beeyouteeful, too? He shrugs and says, "yeah." Then goes on his way.
